So, in my world studies class today, we had to go watch a presentation about Liberty in North Korea. The task was to pay attention and NOT have cell phones out or talk during the presentation. Sounds easy enough for the other kids in my class, right?
After the presentation, my world studies teacher started lecturing us about paying attention and just generally trying to make the other students feel at least some sort of regret that the ungrateful little bastards couldn't even clap for these students who are trying to help these poor people escape from hell on earth (I WAS SERIOUSLY ONE OUT OF TEN OR TWELVE PEOPLE OUT OF THIRTY TO FORTY SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING).
Anyway, afterwards I was discussing this with the teacher and I cracked a joke about how I have issues paying attention, but still managed to actually do what I was supposed to, when some dumbass decides to mock me (he said something like "ooh attention issues," or some dumb shit like that). So my teacher responds, "Oh, so you're going to disrespect your peers too?" Because he was one of the students who wouldn't follow simple instructions and pay attention to the presentation that these kids had worked their asses off on making. The dumbass replied, "She's not my peer, I don't know her," literally saying out loud that he doesn't know what a SIMPLE FUCKING WORD LIKE PEER MEANS! I was so dumbfounded by this guy's sheer disrespectfulness and stupidity, I couldn't even facepalm. The teacher has to LITERALLY DEFINE the word "peer" to him.
I want to slap everyone in my entire class right now.
